What Firmness You Want in Your Baits
-
SOFT FIRMNESS
The action and finesse on the bait are extremely sensistive and their are more rotation and action in the bait as a result of the decrease of firmness. This could help in waters where the fish you are targeting like more action in the bait. However, This firmness reduces the durability of the strikes making it easier to rip
-
MEDIUM FIRMNESS
This is the middle firmness that equalizes the durability of the bait while also having great emphasis on action and finesse. Use for fish that like a fair amount of action but also strike lures especially hard like barracuda
-
HARD FIRMNESS
This firmness is made specifically for fish that strike lures intensley hard and look to make rips and scars in the bait. At the expense of action and finesse it will survive lure strikes as best as possible.

Our Production Process
Baiters Better Baits are produced through a complex process involving high temperature silicon and cnc machined aluminum molds that are used for these baits. They are built to maximize action through softer formulas of silicon that create the high volume of finesse and action that make it so appealing to fish. However, anglers are given options for what charachteristics they want in their bait.
What Color To Use
-
Darker Color
Darker colors like black, blue, or green are ideal in low-light conditions or muddy water. They create a strong silhouette that stands out against the background. This makes it easier for fish to spot the bait based on contrast rather than color.
-
Solid Color
Solid colors are effective when fish are finicky or heavily pressured. They offer a clean, consistent look that resembles natural prey without overwhelming detail. In clear water, a solid color can be more convincing than a complex pattern.
-
Lighter Color
Lighter colors such as white, pearl, or silver work best in clear water and bright conditions. They reflect more light, mimicking the flash of baitfish. This visual cue can trigger aggressive strikes from predators hunting by sight.
